Situation

1. Had built new Kyria rev3 boards.
2. Wanted to fix / refresh old rev1.4 board and update it to new keymap.

Task

1. Remove rotary encoders. There’s no spot on the rev1.4 board to match current location on rev3 boards.
2. Update keymap.
3. Update keycaps. Old ones were funky and highly angled.

Action

Bungled removing the OLED and ripped out the trace.

Result

1. OLED trace burned out.
2. Otherwise works well.
3. Good backup and travel keyboard.
