Need a logo for Niscient LLC. Use for this website and as avatar on many others (e.g., Github).

Task

Use GenAI to mold a logo. Then modify by hand to suit.

Action

Play with Composition using GenAI

1. Wanted a fox to be the centerpiece.
2. Simple enough for a logo, but with a little texture.
3. Used Craiyon:

   1. Started with prompt: ‘fox logo geometric’.

   2. Experimented with keywords.

   3. Evolved to final prompt: ‘elegant logo featuring a fox silhouette on a dark background’.

      

Clean Up and Create Variations

Used GIMP.

1. Removed background.
2. Simplified foreground to remove most shading.
3. Cleaned a lot of edges manually.
4. Created color variations.

Result

Happy with this logo. Different. Allows for a lot of variations. Understandable even when quite small.
